Yoshi's Island Productions

Background: Yoshi's Island Productions is a division of Nintendo Animation, Inc. The company began in 1995 and is still running today.

1st Logo
(1995-)

Logo: On a black background, we see the red text Yoshi's Island Productions written in the Yoshi's Island font. Then the text shines.

Variants:
  • On Pokémon the Movie: Genesect and the Legend Awakened, a zooming red "Y" zooms very fast, and zooms slowly when it reaches the screen. A buzz then sounds and a background changes to a rapidly flashing potato and the Y falling off, revealing the part where a shaking, armless cyborg (with a skinless face) with one of his eyes missing, crashing through the TV screen and killing the viewers. FAST FORWARD THIS PART!!!!
  • On YouTube Kids Movies from 2010 to the present, at the end of the logo, we hear Sonic the Hedgehog saying the infamous "Where The Next Generation Begins!" YouTube Kids slogan.

FX: The text shining and being written.

Music/Sounds: A calm tune. For the Pokémon the Movie: Genesect and the Legend Awakened variant, a creepy synth speeding up and slowing and normal at the end.

Cheesy Factor: This logo looks it screams the 80's!

Availability: Seen on the Yoshi's Island TV show. Common.

Scare Factor: None for the regular variant. For the Pokémon the Movie: Genesect and the Legend Awakened variant, NIGHTMARE to WTH!
