XQZ Animation

Background: XQZ Animation is an animation studio based in San Diego, California, created by former Starburns Industries employees Nellie Linkletter and Phoebe Kershaw in 2017. The name comes from a statement Linkletter would say when passing people "excuzi; excuse me." XQZ is notable for having an all female roster of workers, as well as a controversy involving a transsexual employee who sued a journalist who reported on them without their permission. XQZ specializes in stop-motion, though they occasionally do 2D animation.

Availability: Seen on the Figures series of shorts as well as the Princess Natasha reboot on Netflix.
