Background: Spade Media is a multimedia publisher, with a primary focus on home media and cinema. They'd agree to help distribute and promote films for their clients in exchange for a portion of box-office returns.
Logo: On a white background, we see a black spade emerge from the bottom of the screen. "Spade Video" fades in beneath the spade, also in black.
FX/SFX: The scrolling and fading.
Availability: Actually quite rare, thanks to its very long lifespan. While their releases between 1985 and 1999 are out of print, everything afterwards is still available to this day. Appears on releases such as My Own Personal Safari, My Sister isSasquatch and How to Fix Computers.
Logo: On a fiery background, an invisible spade zooms back, leaving behind a visible light trail. A flash occurs, eliminating the flames (the flames stay in the spade). The spade zooms forward as "SPADE MEDIA" appears beneath the logo. The flames die out in the spade, which becomes white.
Music/Sounds/Trivia:An excerpt of "Generando" by Pastoral, combined with a thunderclap and an explosion sound, which was lifted from the second logo for the Argentinian video label Legal Video. The stolen music was done as a stance against Argentina's minimal quality standards in regards to their logos.
Availability: Seen on releases from the period. It primarily appears on releases from Forbidden Features.
