Pendant Blue Pictures

Logo descriptions by CokeFan12

1st Logo
(1945-1950)

Logo: On a shady blue background with clouds on the bottom, we see an emblem resembling a white pair of wings. Below that is "A PENDANT BLUE PICTURE".

FX/SFX: None.

Music/Sounds: Opening theme of the film.

Availability: Uncommon. This was seen on many Pendant Blue productions of the time. First seen on A Maid Love Story.

Scare Factor: None.

2nd Logo
(1950-1952)

Logo: This was the same as before, except this time, the background is shady green, the emblem is shrunken to a small size and the company name is "PENDANT BLUE".

FX/SFX: None.

Music/Sounds: A 15-note fast bombastic fanfare.

Availability: Extremely rare. Was seen on Pendant Blue's live-action adaptation of Cinderella. Also seen on the original print of A Maid Love Story 2 (in recent prints this was plastered by the Pendant Blue Classics logo).

Scare Factor: None.

3rd Logo
(1952-1966)

Logo: On a red background, we see a two letter "P"(s), one upright and one upside down and mirrored (to represent "b"). Below that is "A PENDANT BLUE PICTURE". Then everything fades out.

FX/SFX: The fading.

Music/Sounds: A single bombastic note.

Availability: Uncommon. Seen on many releases of the time. Notably seen on the original print of Summer Monster Battle.

4th Logo
(1966-1970)

Logo: Same as before, but the letters were moved to the left of the screen and there's a line between the letters extending to the right (but not edge) of the screen. Above the line is "PENDANT" and below is "blue".

Variant: There's an animated version of the logo. First, the outline of the "P" draws, after which it gets filled. Then, the "b" outline draws and fills itself like the "P". After that, the line draws from the left to the right, and finally, the text appears.

FX/SFX: None, but the drawing and filling in the animated version.
