1st Logo
Nintendo 3DS Communications, Inc. (2010)
Logo: On a white background, we see an Aqua Blue Nintendo 3DS in its open position. The Nintendo 3DS logo fades in on the top screen and "Communications, Inc." in very small font fades in on the touchscreen. All the text is black except the gray square and the red "3", both in the 3DS logo.

Effects: The 3DS logo and "Communications, Inc." fading in on the 3DS.

Cheesy Factor: The Circle Pad is tinted blue.

Music/Sounds: The first 7 notes of the 8-bit Super Mario theme.

Availability: Rare. Only seen on the airing of the E3 presentation of the Nintendo 3DS, which only aired in Japan in 2010. The E3 of the 3DS can also be on YouTube, but only the standard format version has this logo.

Scare Factor: None.

2nd Logo
Nintendo 3DS Communications, Inc. (2011)
Logo: We see the part of the E3 presentation of the Nintendo 3DS where Satoru Iwata first holds up the Nintendo 3DS. The view is actually like you're in the back of the audience. Suddenly, we zoom in to the 3DS as the background turns white. The 3DS rotates to the position you see here. Finally,

slides out from behind the 3DS as the 3DS moves to the left. The logo then fades out.

Trivia: This logo was made for Nintendo 3DS Communications, Inc.'s change from standard format to widescreen format.

Effects: Everything.

  • There is a still logo on shows by the company.
  • The 3DS may be one of these colors:
  • Mega Man: The Animated Series: Aqua Blue
  • New Super Mario Super Show: Flame Red
  • Metroid: The Animated Series: Midnight Purple
  • Mario's Adventures: Pearl Pink
  • The Legend of Zelda: Cosmo Black
  • Mega Man: The Movie: Ice White
Music/Sounds: First a soundbite of Iwata saying "This is Nintendo 3DS." from the E3 presentation. Then a 16-note uprising fanfare. A soundbite from the show or the closing theme for the variant.

Availability: Seen on shows and movies by the company. Also seen on the HD version of the E3 presentation of the Nintendo 3DS on YouTube.

Scare Factor: None, unless zoom-ins and Japanese people creep you out, but the music helps.

(September 5, 2012)

Effects: None.

Music/Sounds: None.

Availability: Only seen on Nintendo 3DS XL: Why You Should Get It, which aired on television on September 5, 2012. Also seen on Nintendo 3DS XL: Why You Should Get It on YouTube.
