Nickelodeon Studios Japan (Japan)

Background: In 1999, to coincide with the launch of Nickelodeon Japan, ground was broken for a Nickelodeon Studios (similar to the one in Orlando) in Osaka, Japan that would produce Japanese versions of the non-animated shows produced by the network at the time on the future site of Universal Studios Japan. It opened on March 31, 2001 with Universal Studios Japan. It was shuttered along with Nickelodeon Japan in September 2009.

1st Logo
(March 31, 2001-September 2009)

Nickname: "The Ride View"

Logo: We see a realistic coloring, looking like it was done with a colored pencil, of the side view of the front of Nickelodeon Studios Japan (the building is identical to Orlando, except the sign is more red than orange and the facade resembles a Japanese temple), including the slime fountain. Then it fades to the front of everything.

FX/SFX: The coloring seems to be "animated".

Music/Sounds: An announcer saying "[TITLE OF SHOW] was/is recorded in front of a live (studio) audience at (in) Nickelodeon Studios at Universal Studios (Osaka), Japan".

Availability: Rare; can be seen on almost any show recorded from Nickelodeon Studios Japan in the early 2000's.

Scare Factor: None.

2nd Logo
(2002-September 2009)

Nickname: "Ride View II"

Logo: Same as the 2nd logo, but it's live action instead.

FX/SFX: Live action.

Music/Sounds: Same as the 2nd logo.

Availability: This logo appeared on some shows prior to 2006, but didn't become the main logo until 2006.

Scare Factor
: None.
