Background: This is Lilly Laney's production company. The company primarily works on documentaries centered on world issues and political-oriented topics, but has branched out to art films and independent ventures. Unlike other companies in the Strange & Company collective, who primarily work with streaming services and are otherwise independent, Caspian Entertainment does work for mainstream companies. Following the release of The Inch, Laney was fired from Strange & Company due to her issuing DMCA takedowns on negative reviews on the film. Due to her contract with Strange & Company lasting until 2020, she agreed to a deal which involved her surrendering the rights to films that were produced for Strange & Company.
